General Maintenance

OIL** CHANGES: We do all types of oil changes for all types of vehicles, including Synthetic Oils and Diesel vehicles - of course all oil changes include our courtesy inspection, not to mention our traditional REPEAT CUSTOMER DISCOUNT!

TRANSMISSION FLUID** FLUSHES & / OR FILTER** CHANGE: Manufacturers have different schedules for this service, some as start as soon as 30,000 miles.  Keeping your transmission fluid up to snuff will go a long way to prevent costly repairs!

COOLANT** SERVICES: I can not overstate the importance of keeping your coolant at proper levels and free of contaminants.  From overheating to rotting radiators, doing a regular flush will help prevent a lot of headaches.  All of our repeat customers get a great price on this service and it doesn't take that much time - please do not put this off, let us check out your fluid. 

SPARK PLUGS**:  Have a Chrysler vehicle? Most all call for replacement of spark plugs every 30,000 miles!  Others call for different intervals, but keeping up on this can help prevent misfires which can lead to a failed Catalytic Converter not to mention improved gas mileage!  We only use OEM Recommended plugs and do the job right the 1st time

SERPENTINE** / DRIVE BELTS**:Loose a belt today & the consequences are not fun, and usually result in a bunch of inconvenience & a tow - not to mention old worn belts can make a bunch of annoying noise.  Preventative maintenance once more is the key, let us check out your belts & see if they are ready for a change. We us Goodyear Gator back belts, in my opinion they are the best you can buy for durability and noise combined!

DIFFERENTIAL & TRANSAXLE FLUIDS**:  All rear-wheel & 4-wheel drive vehicles need to have these fluids replaced.  Do you hear some whining or other noise coming from your rear end? (sorry - couldn't help myself) that is a good sing you need some fluid attention.  All manufacturers have a recommended schedule for changing this fluid - I really recommend following it, if not sure and you are and getting along in the miles - better safe than sorry!

TIMING BELTS**:  This is one that most people cringe about, not the cheapest maintenance item, but surely one of the most important!  We do it right and usually can get you going the same day.  Check your manual and once again - follow your mfg recommendations!

CABIN AIR FILTERS**:  If your car has one, it needs to be changed!  This is a new addition since the late '90's and operates just as your home Heating and A/C Filter.  From system performance to odor & contaminant control, change these once a year!
